This book looks at the budget allocations of eight government departments and shows the different impact economic policies have on women and men. This book looks at how the budgets of local municipalities affect poor people. It looks at the revenue (income) and spending of five municipalities. Each of the chapters looks at the municipality's budget, and asks questions about whether and how services are provided.
