Financing Gender Equality and Women’s Rights – Close the Gap

FINAL CONSULTATION SESSION and STRATEGY WORKSHOP

For our final activity in the project, we would like to invite you to participate in our online Final Consultation Session on Thursday, October the 15th at 14.00 – 16.00 PM (CEST) and the Strategy Session on Friday, October 16th at 14.00 - 15.30 PM (CEST).

The aims of the Consultation Session and Strategy Workshop are:

to review points of engagement in the UN Financing for Development (FfD) agenda through a gender equality lens
to learn about some of the tools and strategies we’ve used to inform and educate about financing gender equality as part of the FfD agenda
to discuss strategies with partner networks and to highlight strategies for mobilisation and campaigning which could be leveraged for further collaboration
to strategise on how we can continue as a collective, both in collaboration with other networks and possibly as next steps after this project

The Financing Gender Equality and Women's Rights - Close the Gap project aims to inform about how critical gender equality and women’s rights are to development finance and achieving the SDGs and to engage new participation among civil society in the FfD agenda.

The project is part of Citizens for Financial Justice, a group of European partners – from local grassroots groups to large international organisations. Together, we aim to inform and connect citizens to act together to make the global financial system work better for everyone.
